Dyno for CLK430
Has anyone here dynoed their CLK430? I will be dynoing mine today. Does it make a difference if I leave the 19's on the car? Anyways, my ECU was reflashed when I got my trans put in so I have talked to Oliver at Speed Tuning USA and me and a couple other benzes (bagher and bensitto) will be getting our ECU's tuned. I talked Oliver into meeting us at a performance shop (EIP tuning, work on VW's and Audi's) and will have an in ground dyno on location. I will be dynoing before and after (dont know if the other guys are getting theirs dynoed). Finally time to see what kind of hp/torque speed tuning USA really provides. I will post results either tonight or tomorrow night. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Here's my dyno run. It's a pre-supercharger baseline so the car is stock other than a CLK 55 airbox and Remus Exhaust.

1999 CLK430
oliver told me it would take 300 miles for the chip to 'learn'. i have been pushing the car hard since we put the chip to 'help' it out so i'm not really sure of any power gains yet but 3 times today the tires chirped while leaving a light at the intersection and it has never done that before!

Unfortunately we were not able to dyno because there was no tech that could operate the dyno. Bagher and bensitto got the chip done, you can see bagher's impression and bensitto told me he feels the power and is getting better gas mileage. I elected not to get the chip so that I can dyno the actual gains of the chip. I will let you guys know the results. I was also told that the size of the wheels do not effect the dyno readings. EIP tuning said they could do a custom turbo setup on my car with about 6psi boost for ~8k installed. I saw some of their work and they do a VERY good job. They are even doing a custom turbo on Chris McAlister (Baltimore Ravens Cornerback) which will be putting out over 650whp. His car was SICKKKKKK, GT3 body kit, 20" techart black wheels with huge polished lips. Anyway, the only thing I'm worried about is this crappy trans they put in this car. I will probably get a new car next year.

Nice numbers Josh. Did you place your car in "dyno mode" or just turn the ESP off. What gear did you use?
