HoP Rear TRAK-Links Installed :0) (56k DIE)

So after getting tired of running 3° of negative camber on my rear wheels, I got a set of rear TRAK-Links from House of Power. The 4 bars allow for complete adjustability (2 bar sets don't), and they're aircraft quality T6 aluminum. I'm going to try and get some shots of the car on the ground, but because the suspension is no longer in a bind, the back of the car is now almost .5" lower. I'm going to try different spring pads, and then of course get the car aligned. More than likely I'm going to be getting a K-Mac kit for the front camber.

Here's a shot of the stock arms and the TRAK-Links:

Here's some before shots:

And after:

They're not cheap, cause it's T6 and everything including the heim joints are aircraft quality. I don't want to get banned for "advertising" (even though I'm a customer and not a shop) so email them for all the info.

Yeah, blue's my favorite color, and it's the color I chose for my supercharger hoses/trim, so everything's going to tie together nicely. :0)

Why would you want rubber? I'm not sure about polyurethane, but if you want performance than heim joints are the way to go.

Polyurethane is a bad idea. It's very very stiff. You won't like it at all.

Josh-
What do you mean by complete adjustability? I have speedybenz's set (consists of a 2 bar set) and was able to adjust my camber. I'm trying to understand what the 2 additional bars gain you.

thanks.

He can change almost anything.

He can move the top of the wheel into the car, or out of the car, so he can mess camber as much as he wants.

It's hard to explain, but if you were to put your car on a lift, take out the bar that you replaced, and then move the suspension around, you'll see that the suspension doesn't just travel in the "camber direction" by being able to adjust only that set of bars. When you move the suspension with that bar removed, it will not only pivot in and out, but forward and back quite a bit as well. Again, it's very hard to explain 3D planes over the internet, but while the suspension was apart, I was able to test it for myself.

I understand that the longer bar will allow you to make wheel adjustment by tilting the wheel in or out at the top.....in other words if you are looking at your rear wheels from the back of your car, your wheels might look like this: / \ and after adjustment you could adjust to look like this: | |. However, I am still not clear as to what adjustment the short bar gives you. Is it related to camber or is it a different alignment adjustment such as toe? Sorry for not understanding this the first time around.

Thanks for your patience.

Poly bushings are a bad idea....especially if you live in an area that gets really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter.

My links don't use poly bushings, they use aircraft quality heim joints which are used on F1 cars.

But, even with drastic climate changes, poly bushings would still be superior to rubber bushings.
