Xenons + BA9 5LED vs Halogen
Ok well we all know how the inner city bulbs are really really yellow. I got some xenons and added BA9 5LED city lights. The LEDs are a bit too blue compared to the xenon bulbs and would surely look weird if your main lights were halogen. If anyone else has a bulb that better matches their xenons, lemme know where you got em from.
The first two are a comparison between xenon and halogen. For the first shot, I turned off the outer lights and put on the bright lights...it's not exactly how a regular halogen setup will look, but it's the same bulb, so it should be sort of close. The last three are pictures from the front showing the bulbs.

I got the super white BA9 for just the city light...they look blueish and don't perfectly match the xenons, but it's better than the yellow. The bigh beam was only turned on for the first picture to compare halogen and xenon. My high beam is still the H7 halogen bulb, but the xenons are so bright that the high beam doesn't make much of a difference. The BA9 5LED bulbs from www.autolumination.com don't fit into the H6W city light socket - you have to file off one of the prongs and it'll sit just fine. With the LED, the computer detects that it's a different bulb and thinks something is wrong with the circuit...if you want to prevent seeing the blown bulb warning, you'll need to get some load equalizers from the site.
This guy has a really good installation guide - https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....1&postcount=27
I got the xenons from mmgrad. It was just the OEM ballasts and bulbs, but it came out to be quite a bit cheaper than buying a used xenon setup with the housing and everything. It takes a while getting the stuff secured, but my time is free

Well I was just hooking up my 3 ohm load equalizer and something weird happened...the oem resistor on the grey wire got really hot, started to smoke, and the LED wouldn't turn on. I took out the load equalizer and everything works fine again (except for the lamp defective warning). I guess I'll email the people and see if they know anything about this.

yea, it looks like i ordered 6 ohm but he sent 3 ohm. i emailed him and he says to use 15-25 ohm instead. i told him about others on the forum who got 6 ohm to work in their cars...he said it was because the systems are overdesigned so 6 ohm would work, but it would put more load than necessary on the circuit. im gonna send back my 3 ohm and get 15-25 ohm i guess.
