OK...so as of now i have it so that the camera triggers when I go into reverse. I simply connected the backup camera lead to my reverse light. The problem is, I want to be able to turn on the camera whenever I want. Is there a way to send a 12v signal into the camera lead without sending the signal into the hot lead of my backup light? I know I can do it with 2 switches, but can it be done with one switch? If so, how? Thanks

Nevermind...found the answer online. SPDT will do it if anyone was ever curious.
