CL65 wheels on black 320, too much? Also, Photoshop request and SLR, SL65 pics!
Im thinking ahead about new wheels again. If i do it, it'll be in December so hopefully there will be some good sales going on. I was my the MB dealer the other day looking at cars for fun (they have an SLR, SL65, S65, and an SL55 in stock currently) and i really started liking the 65 AMG series wheels, the ones with the satin color on the inside of the wheel.
My questions are:
1)is this wheel too much for my 320? I really like the way it looks, but im wondering if its too aggressive for the car.
2) It doesnt matter much to me if the wheels actually say "AMG" on them, does ASA or anyone else make this wheel in satin? What kind of pricing can i expect from them? The silver ones are about $800 a set from ASA
3) How would i go about modifying silver ones to satin if i cant find them? I know JoshK did his this way, was it just a paint job?
4) Any fittament issues? Im wanting to go with 18s to avoid slowing down the car too much with 19s.
I've posted a pic of my car and of the wheels in question, can anyone photoshop them on the car for me? my P-shop skills are less than optimal, also, can someone make the impact strips on the car match the rest of the paint (they're currently graphite but will be painted in October hopefully). Also, there are some shots of the AMGs and the SLR for fun.

As for the ride height, i plan on using low profile tires and 18" replica wheels (not real AMG 65 wheels because of $$$$$). That should counteract any lifting effect that would come about as a result of lowering (hopefully trading 1" diameter of rubber for 1" of metal). I also need to tighten my rear shocks to cut out some understeer, so i hope to use smaller spring pads when i take them out to adjust them, since Koni screwed all of us with the kind of shocks you cant adjust while they're still installed in the car
