2000 CLK430 Convertible - Car Seat Needed for Newborn

Folks, I have a 2000 CLK430 convertible and a 3 week old child. Mercedes Benz has a car seat for $700 plus dollars but the minimum weight is 20lbs. I would like to know if anyone has suggestions on what car seat might fit in the CLK for newborns.
