haters crazy
$500 bucks wont get you much in a benz. You could look into a cheap ECU flash like speedtuning USA, some Green air filters or maybe e v o sport pullies.

i'd go with evosport pullies and green air filters. most of the ecu flash jobs don't have dyno numbers to back it, and the ones that do (renntech i think?) cost a ton

I asked about what can be done today at a local garage ( Beirut). the guy he could get it to 250 Hp ( 35 increase) for 600 $. He talked about changing the 12 platinum spark plugs to gold plugs, an exhaust tuning, and a Modec( i think) sports software stage 2. he also said camshafts would give a good increase but they cost about 1500 $ alone

Yeh, anyone who tells you that spark plugs are going to give you a poewr gain... LIAR. If i were you i'd make a custom cold air intake, something i've been wanting to do for a while, get a cat back exhaust system, under drive pulleys, and a chipped ecu, then expect HP gains around 20-25HP

Whatever you do, don't waste your money on "electric superchargers".
I wish eBay would put a stop to that kind of deceptive selling.

know what , i think fitting the 3.8s V6 brabus package is the best way to go, or fit a supercharger ( way to expensive)

yea, electric superchargers like the ones on ebay do nothing. a true "electric supercharger" is something like this: http://www.sigmaautomotive.com/elect...trocharger.php except the project went dead and ran out of money so we won't be seeing it soon

I know I might get some flack for saying this but I would not spend a dime on engine performance for an automatic car. I have been modifying cars for about 13 years, and I have learned that unless you replace the stock torque converter, you are wasting your money. The more power the engine makes the more power the stock converter wastes.
Your search for more power should start with a high performance torque converter. This is something 90% of people don't do because of 1. they can be very expensive and 2. you have to drop your transmission to do the install.

eh, i think the torque converter issue is a bit generalized. Im guessing you've been working in muscle cars some?

Actually not, imports all my life. Back in 1995 I had a 95 Accord automatic. I bought SS DC headers, AEM Cold air intake, JG Throttle body, AEM pulleys, Rechiped the ECU, MSD 6A ignition, HKS super Dragger exhaust, and left the stock converter alone. 16.3 was my best with those mods. A year later I bought a torque converter with a higher stall speed and my times dropped to 15.7 consistently.

Forget about putting performance mod on it, you can't go no where., with the 320,., save that $500 for a good dinner., or some comestic mod..

Just curious, are you modding your 230?

Bone stock 95 Accord EX's with automatic transmissions run 17 seconds.
4 cylinder 2.2 liters 140 Hp and 130 or so torque. 3100lb car.
I learned a big lesson there. Never again will I spend money on performance parts for an automatic car. I bought the 320 simply because I like the looks of it, never intended it to go fast.

But you know, a stolck 320 is not that bad,0 to 60 in 7 s is not bad for such engine with a automatic transmission, and other options....

If one has $8K to burn, installing a kleeman V6 supercharger is the way to go. Anyone here know the dyno numbers or who has installed one?
