KOOL! And Mario(E55cent) told me that the company that makes the fuel and timing control is called Split second.PM Mario for details. This supercharging, inj, fuel and timing thing is not hard.Good Luck!PS and try Ebay once you figure out what injectors you'll need.

anyone????? coming from highly modified custom turbo setups on 1.8T vw engines (Audi TT, Audi A4 and Jettas) ive seen my fair-share of those BOSCH injectors...etc. Ive been trying for a while to get every-sort out for my custom supercharger setup but its really hard since all the "high-end" custom shops here are scared as hell from working on MBs (but they fill at home with the bmws / vws)..and I shortly found someone that is dying to work on my car ....good old friend that hadnt seen in a long time. ROTARY-powered champion in the state of florida. Ran 7 seconds with a little 1.1L engine

Again, Sick Bro!

Vortech for those who don't know have been in the business for many years.

I need someone here in Toronto, Canada to blow my Cab. I need to move to Cali.

-Frustrated Canadian.

Very nice. Only thing I would worry about is the rear differential.

Currently it's running stock software (custom ECU is in the works) and is tuned with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Any hints? I think it's better to upgrade the fuel pump vs just adding an adjustable fuel reg.Just my .02.

I'm interested in knowing the results, keep us posted.

Actually right now, the stock fuel pump flows more than enough fuel to hold the needed PSI at the rail. The car runs great and doesn't detonate on pump gas. It does lean out a little bit at the top (not enough to harm the motor), but this is due to the ME2.0 software in the car right now - the problem is not present on 2001+ cars with ME2.8. The ECU will address this issue. :0)

Ever considered using a piggy back that can adjust timing and fuel? I think this is better than just programming a chip, especially for F/I.

When I go F/I this will be my route.Mario's E55 uses ME 2.0 software and the car runs rich I believe he says.So I guess each will run different. You can program the ME 2.0 software to run rich. I still stand by piggy back or standalone though.

Well the chip wouldn't be a mail order one, it will be programmed and adjusted with the car on the dyno (full custom tune).

Mario's car uses ME2.0 but he's also got a 55 (different injectors, etc.) I was thinking about going standalone, but I want to keep it smog legal and I'm not sure how standalone would fit into that.

Either way, I'm just trying to squeeze the most ponies I can out of the current setup. Right now it runs great with no drivability issues whatsoever, so I'm already pretty happy.

Josh lets set a time for us and other supercharged Benz's to go to the track. I'm getting ready to buy some drag tires. What do you think?

Sounds like a plan. I just found a set of 10" wide rears for my car so I'm gonna get them stripped and powdercoated to match my current wheel color. I was having a hard time getting traction last night so hopefully some 275's/285's back there will help.

What track are you thinking about?

If you make those tires fit without rubbing, please post specific details on how to do this.

I most certainly will. I'll more than likely have to roll the fenders, especially considering that I have adjustable camber arms so I can't use the excessive negative camber to tuck the wheels :0) Either way, details will be posted.

Not sure what track is the best around here. Bakerfield, Palmdale or ????
Are you having F1 roll and stretch the rear fenders? They might have to cut and remove the whole inside fender, this is what they did on my Bimmer.

I did the same thing, then had the underside coated for rust protection.

Palmdale isn't usually crowded but you run about .5 seconds slower there cause of the altitude. I guess we could check out pomona or Carlsbad.

As for the fenders, my friend has a fender roller, I'll probably do it myself unless it involves trimming.
