This is just my 0.02. Not really a big fan of the big star so i'd say loose the grille. Think the stock ones better. To each his own.

Talking

Hmmmm...I think I am going to paint black the chrome pins above and under the star, to see how it looks...I wish they would have made this star a little bigger, to cover the whole grill, but this one is almost there, much bigger than before, the star alone measures 5 inches.

Question

Viktorious, what kind of modifications did they do to fit those 19" CL AMG's in your car. I spoke with Luke@Tirerack, and he told that they don't fit the CLK because the ofset and fitment is different.

Hey Viktorious

Where did you get the black 3-pointed Star enblem on your trunk? Is that a custom job (I noticed your front grill is black too) or did you buy the black star?

I started a thread a few months ago about black emblems and hood ornaments. Somebody said that a Lorinser shop in Hong Kong had them, but my sis couldn't find it when she visiting HK last month!

I'm toying with the idea of putting a black hood ornament, black CLK 430 and black star emblems on my black 01 430.

By the way, love your rims!

I've seen a black CLK with shaved emblem on the trunk, looks so clean, you should do that instead.

I agree - What kind of Camera did you use Bruce ? Did you do any enhancements after taking the picture besides putting the border and the water mark?

Thanks guys, I used my Nikon Coolpix 2500, this camera doesn't have the the option to adjust shutter speed or take explosures. No flash was used in those pix, I used "night landscape" mode to take the pix. I didn't change anything except shriking the pix and add border and my name.

Come on Bruce put the bumper and wheels on!

It is not polite to advertise and make your friends wait!

Angry You're right! Now how do I do an edit?

I was just trying to help a fellow board member with questions on the kit. I didn't mean talk about my project, my bad. Ignore my post, I'll be back in a month or so.

I can't wait to see your wheels and the completed kit.
