After hearing TK's troubles on the other MB website, not sure I'd touch these things with a 10 foot pole

The troubles were all my fault. If I had not forgotten the key in the ignition, it would'nt have happened. But I found out that you can wheel & deal with the dealership mechanics to a certain extent(working on their image) so if you're taking it in for something else, just pre-drill the holes in the stock sill and see if they'll hook them up for a little $$. Best if something happens on their liability.
