Upgrading stock CLK430 halogens to HIDs.
Has anyone swapped out the stock halogens with the HID assembly from another 208?
Is it just plug and play or are there tricks needed to make it work? Also there shouldnt be a difference between the CLK320 and CLK430 HID assemblies, right?

Completely plug and play, only thing you won't get is self leveling (if you want this you have to spend a buttload of time and $$$ retrofitting the wiring harness and sensors - not worth it since the headlights can still be traditionally adjusted)
Don't forget to up the fuse amperage from 15 to 20 on your headlights.

you guys are using the stock HID ballasts for the fogs? if so, where did you guys mount them? .. pix if possible. i've been trying to do this but i don't have enough knowledge to start.....
