I just bought 2 hid kits for my clk one for my headlingts H7, and the other are H1 for the fog lights. I did it like this because i want all my bulbs to match so far is good but I still need to change the bulb on the high beans sinse i dont think i will be spending in another hid kit for the high beans and daytime runing lights. (but i need to change it so the whole front will match) Here is the link of the kits i got http://www.gohid.com/product_1748_486.html 9000K Ultraviolet Purple its what i bought sinse the color of my car is burgundy it will look better than the blue-ish HID's now i need help on where to get a regular H7 bulb but i has to be purple so it will go with the headlights and foglights as well. I spend so $698 on those 2 HID kits.

I should br getting these buy wednesday of this week i will post pictures once i install them so you guys cant pick at it and flame me lol.

They usually have bulbs on ebay but I just checked for 9000k and they dont have any. I've actually never seen 9000k's before. Good luck.

I just ordered them and the armrest for mine.

they are suppose to pop off and the new ones just pop back on .. or snap on ...

easy to do from what i am told.

Cool....Well if they just pop on and pop off for sure that will be eazy but im not sure yet, on how to do it untill i get my package wich it will be arriving this thursday along with my new HID's i will post the pics once i have the ultraviolet HID's install.(bbnz) I know you gonna love it.

Door handles are literally pop off, pop on. 1 minute per side. The wood armrest just sits on your factory vinyl armrest (yes, it's vinyl unless you have a Designo interior) with adhesive on the underside.

sorry but, i gotta flame... why would you get 9000K HIDs? there will be so much glare, and not much luminance...

oh, Also, since you have a '99 CLk430... you need H3s for your foglight... not H1s

You can flame all you want it dosent bother me at all. I went with 9000k because thats what i like. Here is the link on the fog size i need, so i dont know where are you getting 99 CLK430 uses an H3 when i ask and they told me that i need H1 correct me if im wrong but here is my proof, look for your self. http://gohid.com/hid-automobile-table_4028.html

no you do not. you either have h1 or h3. in your case, h3 . just go under your car and check for yourself

Damn, why are you guys being so hard on him? He ordered what the site told him to order. I believe that it takes the H3 but I'm sure he can return the H1's in exchange for the H3. I also think that 9000K would look better on his car than say a 8000k. I say this because his car is a burgundy color and wouldn't look right if he had "bluish" lights. Dont we mod cars to be different anyway?

but about the color being 9000k.. that's ridiculous. it's not like they can see that the car is burgundy at night.. it'll just look like another dark car with purple lights.

I dont know about where you live but we have lights on our streets so you can see the color of the cars driving at night. I'm not going to argue about what he decides to put on his car because after all, its HIS car. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Theres no point in arguing over this!

well said... they are our opinions. i don't live in the city where lights are all over the place but like most places, the street lights are orange and they make the car look darker, regardless of color.

Ok. I just install the HID kit yesterday with the help of blackbenzz. looks better than those 8000k and no glare what so ever just to let you know. I will be installing the H1 kit for the fogs on monday, then i will take a picture so you can see that there is no glare at all and they do look a lot better than you think.

Here are some pictures.I was bored so i decide to do it today and these are the results you might see some glare at nighin the picture only but if you look at them in person you will have a totally different opinion about these 9000k HID's are the best out there if not just ask blackbenzz.i will post more pictures in the day light tomorrow and Im happy with my $700 lights upgrade

I do see the greenish color on one of the fog lights, I donr know why but i took those pictures as soon as i was done with the installation. i just when back to check them again and they both look violet on the ground now, and no malfunctions Im just waiting for my new philips h6w to arrive and i hope they match with the othe lights. next mod will be exaust and suspenc ion
