noise on start up
Hi there,
if I don't drive for a couple of days when I turn on the engine I hear a nasty noise that sounds like some sort of iron frictions. This lasts 1-2 seconds and then disappears. My baby has only 10k km and I hope there is nothing serious going on in the engine block! Any idea what it could be the reason for this?

99' SLK 230 & 01' CLK 430
Most car will do that if you park for a couple days because of the oil dry up and drain down and so you'll hear a couple second of lifters making noise.
