PLEASE HELP! Correct spacer size for W208 with 20's?
Wheels are 8.5 wide and have a 40 offset...20" wheels....
I am assuming that I will need front and rear spacers with that high of an offset...
I am going with 225/30/20 in the front and 245/30/20 in the back....
Already calculated it, wheel height will be .3" in the front and 1.1" in the rear. These setup should work fine....I am hoping by going a little taller in the back to give it a more aggresive stance without lowering the car...
anyway, with a 40 offset front and rear, plus give me a range from an aggresive offset limit to a very safe offset limit....thanks

00 clk 320 and 3 hondas. Darn I am down to 4 cars.
I have 8.5" wide at front with 35mm offset and I wish it were 38mm offset. the wheels stick out just a little bit. For the back I have 9.5" wide with a 35mm offset as well. I wish it were 30mm offset to bring them closer to the fender edge.
So I would say 38mm for the front and 30mm for the back. But I am using a wider rim for the back. All you have to do is mount them first and see how much you have to move then outwards. then make the spacers as needed.

I tried looking for some pix I had before lowering on 19's but forgot that I deleted them out of sheer embarrassment. You might want to rethink those calculations. 1.1" as minuscule as it may seem will look ridiculous bro.

wont it look the same if the height of the combined wheel and tire combination is the same?
if stock is 25" tall and 20's with 225/30/20 tires is 25.3" tall...i would think .3 of an inch would not be a visual difference.
