Kids and Coupes?

Anybody have small children and still use a coupe as daily driver? Do you put the child seat in front or back?

you have to put them in the back due to the airbag,... unless you get the MB booster seat that will then allow you to turn off the passengers side airbag

I still make mine @ 8 sit in back... though he has been in the front seat with the top down a couple of times as the ticket I could get would be far less annoying then hearing him **** and moan for a short drive around... lol

Ha ha....not quite yet....just a long-range planner My dilemma is that I've got two coupes and would not like to have to sell one.

Kids fit fine back there but you'll have to move your seat up quite a bit if you're over 5' 6". I'm 6 foot and it's tight for me when they're back there.

They don't like it because they can't see out since the seats are a bit low and if they're under 8 their legs probably won't reach over the edge of the seat and will stick straight out. Mine hate it compared to my IS300 since "the windows don't open" (I have a coupe).

Key to success is monitors is the headrests...

Good luck.

Oh, that's already been discussed.

My CLK would likely not be the daily transport, but a 300CE that has served me well for over a decade. Thanks for all the input!
