Here Are Some Updated Pis Of My Vip Clk

HI EVERYONE. I KNOW I'VE BEEN MIA FOR A WHILE. BEEN VERY BUSY WITH WORK AND TRYING TO START A LITTLE MANUFACTORING COMPANY. AND I'VE BEEN IN OUT OF TOWN FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS. NUT NOW I HAVE TWO WEEKS TO RELAX BEFORE EVERYTHING STARTS AGAIN. SO HERE ARE SOME NEW UPDATED PICS OF THE CAR. FOR EVERYONE THAT KNEW ABOUT MY TURBO PROJECT ON THE CAR I DID TRY IT BUT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS SOME "BEEFY" PARTS ADDED TO IT TO BE ABLE TO NADLE THE BOOST SO I HAVE TO REBUILD THE TRANNY TO MAKE IT STRONGER TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE BOOST. BUT THE LITTLE WHILE THAT IT WAS IN IT WAS A BLAST. BUT IT STILL NEEDS ALOT AND I MEAN ALOT OF FINE TUNNING AND IT NEEDS TO UNDERGO ALOT OF DYNO HOURS. I LEFT ALL THE PARTS ARE IN EXCEPT THE TURBO AND THE WASTEGATE. BUT I WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED. ALL THE COMMENTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND ALL THE HATERS KEEP ON HATING. JOSH CAR IS LOOKING BAD A$$

Looks great.

Are the clear headlights available for your model?, those would make the car look awesome.

Hacienda Heights is right next to City of Industry. If you're around this weekend shoot me an email, I'll be working on a couple of mods for HIN

that's not a patch that's the carb on fiber showing. i have a carbon fiber hood and i painted it and it was suppose to be painted different but the bodyshop guy didn't follow the lines that i put on the hood for paint border and that's how it came out so i needs a bit of work to make it look better.

i have no idea, i've been looking for them. i was thinking of buying those projector headlights that they offer for w210 on ebay and stuff and use the lens and the internals and put them in my headlight housing but i'm not sure if the lens would fit the clk but they sure as hell look exactly the same because i compared two pictires of the headlights but you know picture is different than the real thing so i'm just trying to find out if i can use the lens from w210 on my clk if you know please let me know.

210 will not fit. You need to do a complete modification with the existing headlights utilizing the clear outer lens from W208 xenon housings.

I think those are the Brabus fogs to match the Brabus lip. Very well executed.

Bravo.

yes they are the brabus style fog lights and i had to get two sets and make a custom bracket using the stock foglight brackets. i really like them but some people don't which is undersatnable it's just something different that hasn't been done before like the black roof on the clk. but thanks everyone for the great comments. i will post more pics once i finish the hood and finish my quad exhaust.

No. You just have to get lucky. One of the guys on the forum pm'd me about an Ebay sale of a "lot" of MB lenses and I bought the whole s*&^load. Now I've got a box of lenses for about ten different Benz's, lol.
If I were you I would buy a used set on Ebay so you could do the retro while the old ones are still in your car. You can also go on Hidplanet.com where there are guys who will make you a set for some $$$.
Your grill is hot. I didn't know how it would look on a silver CLK. Is it gloss, flat or powdercoat?

Not only don't the 210 lenses fit, but even the internals won't do much good since the ones that go on eBay are halogen projectors, not HID.

Nice looking car, the double foglights is a unique look!

Precisely. You're much better off buying the pieces seperately. I hate to say it but Lexus, Audi and Bavarian Manure Wagon use far better projectors, igniters and ballasts than MB. My Hella Gen4's came out of an A6.

Lately I've seen 209 (the newer CLK) style headlights go for nothing on eBay. People are selling them because the mounting tabs are broken off, but you can extract the projector, ballast and bulb for use in the retrofit. Also, that'll give you the Mercedes style projector bezel.

my carbonfiber hood was custom made for my car by my friends at vis. this is the only one produced by them and unfortunatly they will not reproduce it because it was a joint venture of me and the owner of vis and it was made for show purposes only.(they might produce some in the future but as of right now none) but i am a %100 sure you can find someone out there to make you one and yes it's about 1/7 of the stock hood and the fitment is great because it was made around the stock hood platform and it took about 6 months to perfect it. but search around for sure someone will be willing to make you one for about $600 or so. good luck
