can anyone tell me the easiest way to cut that divider from the factory radio and that insert underneath? because I want to put a 7 inch screen but cannot due do to the plastic that sits there...do i have to melt this to cut it or is there an easier way..thanks in advance

Get Heavy duty Serrated Shears and cut as close to the walls as possible.Then smoothen the ragged edges with a rasp and you are done.
