All,

My passenger side mirror doesn't point down when I place the car in reverse. Has anyone had that problem before? If so, how did you fix it?

Make sure the switch to move the mirror is on the passenger side. If you have the drivers side selected it will not go down in reverse.

I have related problem, mine does point down when I am backing up, but when I go forward, it is suppoed to go back to it original position.

It starts to go back and half way there, it gets stuck and I have to manually re-adjust the mirror.

Anybody else has the same problem or know how to fix it?

I'm starting to have that problem as well so I don't use that function anymore. I just leave it alone since I'm tired of re-adjusting it all the time..

Yeah, same problem for me. Happened before while car was in warranty and they fixed it. Then the problem recurred after the warranty so Ive been ignoring it. I have a feeling its some sort of circuit board that needs replacing, perhaps resetting.

Why readjust it? Just hold the preset seat adjustment and it will adjust it back for you as long as you have it preset.

I had the same probem. (Not returning to preset position when going to drive)

You can set where the mirror goes to when you put it in reverse (its in the manual somewhere!). After I did that that it started to go back to the correct position when putting the car in drive.

It's worth a try.
