Navigation nightmare
Well I have to admit all this problems I have are because of me, me and did I mention me? I have a 2002 430 with all the options less navigation phone and voice control. After one too many nice e-bay experiences the phone works so the voice control I have decided to get myself a navigation unit. While TV or no TV option is the main difference I went for the local USA/Canada version. I use to check the auctions and most of them will end around $600 plus shipping cause believe it or not even that the shipping to Canada can be cheaper than from one coast to the other shipping rated from the States to Ontario can be more than 3,4 times the actual rate…Than a perfect deal, super unit no pixels problems even a real 208 all like new $600 later I got my comand unit after the seller closes the e-bay auction so he can save on fees and what was a perfect deal is turns into a nightmare. Cracked corner cracks around the locking slots all scratches and worn main buttons, signs of wrong tooling on all screws,i did the cables, power on and no cd in working order (blocked drive) and the message on the screen:”Insert cd data disc, Software upload”
What a nice guy this seller! What do you suggest other than calling my credit card tomorrow and go that way? This guy Ray is from Brooklyn NY.

Bummer. You got boned. If he has good feedback you can contact him before you leave negative feedback and tell him it's in his best interest to set things straight. Save a copy of the listing for referance and contact your credit company. Good luck.
