Wow, guys I knew we could fine something on these lights. I'am hoping that someone has already made a mold of these. Those lights are incredible. Group Buy I say. I'am definitely in.

We emailed and got no response yet. If you click on that link and then click on "kontaktje" the bottom link is "Londone" or London. Someone should email them there in English.

The fellas on hidplanet helped me alot. Not a job for the squeamish but rewarding none the less. You need to search Ebay for projectors, ballasts, igniters etc. The biggest problem is finding the clear lenses(thanks Splib) that I got from oem hid outer lenses and adapted them to my stock halogen housings. There is a lot of cutting, fitting, sweating and bleeding which is why I don't really want to do a writeup and have someone say "your a *** man, my cars all messed up because of you. lol. Best thing to do is start by reading this:
I spent a good month reading and asking questions on hidplanet and another getting everything together before I attempted this. Getting the housings watertight was another month of trial and error before I was successful. Do it!

Heh, I've got a business that keeps me busy 24/7. No time. But like I said before, the hardest part is finding the outer clear lenses. MB will not sell them seperate. If you have the oem hid lights and you crack your lens, the poor fellas at MB have to sell you a whole new light. Even on Ebay, used hid's go for a pretty penny and usually the reason they are being sold in the first place is scratches, cracks or broken tabs. Someone may want to try to contact Hella and ask if they would sell the lenses seperately but i'm sure they are under contractual obligation to MB.
Did anyone hear anything from the Russians? It appears that the city light lenses are also clear which means they are fabricating their own.

I've got the factory Xenons, but those would be nice. As long as they don't fog though. It's raining like mad here in SoCal today and the last thing I need is more fogging!

Wall Street Journal
The power of group buying is becoming a very powerful tool. I read in the Wall St. Journal today about websites dedicated to group buys and people looking for similar items, meet up and just harass the targeted vendor for discounts. I have seen this tactic put to use here on the forums and it should be put to use a little bit more often (although we benz owners are a bit more cordial about the process). A group of 13 people got close to a 10% markdown off sticker price for a chevy aveo which retailed for around 10k. In another instance - the mob harassed a kitchen appliance vendor for a discount of 30% off.
