ok so ive finally come to my final decition on this topic....

im not going to do the convertion and this is why.
Sure i could fit the headlights on the car and sure, it would be one of the first clks with black projectors, but. I would just be turning the car into front half e-class back half clk mutant and it would just look werid and unproportioned. Not to mention that ive recently found out that pro car parts has developed projector headlights identical to the ones i was going use for the clk (except they haven't released black housing yet) so therefor im just gonna wait. Comes as good news tho cause its about *******g time someone made thoose headlghts.

I can't wait!

Headlamp sets @ Parts Train

Hey, I found the headlight set(s) that everybody seems to be looking for:

http://www.partstrain.com/products/A...K-430-002.html

$260-290 for the Halogen set (why does the passenger side cost $30 more?). The Xenon set is $650....
Not sure if this is what everybody is after but I'm relaying the information just the same. Hope this helps!

Rubberninja - Yah, I know. The original poster asked about 'clear headlights' presumably because he suffers from the foggy headlight lens problem. The thread seemed to turn towards the projector lamps but I thought I'd post that link anyway for us 'regular' headlamp guys/gals.

Thats the only gripe i have with the front end of my car, too much white. I wanna get thoose damned black projectors and black out the bumper lights! ARG!

King320: yeah, thats the look

acb3nz: waiting on production from PCP. They are the only company manufacturing them as far as i know and right now its only chrome housing, poeple who want black will have to wait a bit longer. I have a picture of them installed on a clk but i am currently at work and dont have the shot to upload. Your best bet is to continue to check up on the PCP website.

Big steak fan here. I dropped $90 on a 32oz. Boned-in dry-aged Ribeye last month. Best steak ive ever had, it had some other name in there too, but i forgot. That was last month though, tonight i downed a tube of pringles.........

Wait, werent we talking about headlights? I emailed those guys and begged them to put these things out soon, even gave them a link to this thread. Say hi everyone.
