What gives with all the Error Messages?
1st Example: 2 weeks ago. After changing my tranny fluid, gasket, and filter, upon start, the car showed 3 malfunctions. ABS,BAS, and ESP. After taking the intake assembly apart again and reinstalling as I thought perhaps the MAF was not securely snug with the intake, the problem disappeared after about the 5th time I turned the car on/off. Since this time I have purchased the stop lamp switch which from what I gathered on this forum seems to be the main culprit. The malfuction messages have not returned since they went away by themselves. I have not installed the new switch.
2nd Example: Just today I changed the air filter and after i finished i started the vehicle the car said "NO CD CHANGER". I'm thinking WTF. I turned it off and on again and it disappeared.
Mercedes sure makes it difficult for do it yourselfer's to do anything without problems and spending $$ on special tools, sheeesh

These problems are sure making me think twice about installing the suspension that i have been sitting on for 2 months. I'm afraid it may give me a "Your Motor Is Blown" code or something.

Codes are stored in memory until cleared.
