W210 to W208 Tail light

W210 to W208 Tail light
Driving today i noticed the difference between E series w210 tail light vs W208.
my question is will they fit on the CLK?
if they do, a conversion is highly desirable

They look like the same size but I suspect no one on this forum knows the answer to this. You could buy some cheap on E-bay and try it out or talk one of your W210 friends in to letting you try it out.
Why do you think the switch is "desirable"?
Interestingly, if you look on E-bay, they have W210 replacement aftermarket tail-lights that look like the CLK tail-lights...

Yeh. We have both cars, w210 e430 and w208 clk320. Josh is right, they wont fit. The E light is longer, even if it would fit, why would you want to swap if they are identical?

Thx for the information, i was about to purchase a set from symmic, they made a nice set for the w210 and hoping it fits.
Il follow steps shown by another member and darken the blinders and reverse lights.
