Hello new member here.
I know this is a VERY clean car considering it's in the family
and I know it's never been hit or been in an accident. Furthermore I know it hasn't been abused. The car is spotless inside and out. I am presently borrowing it now to determine if I'd like to proceed and buy.Is there anything I should be aware of or to look for? What's everyone's average cost of ownership with a car 7 years old.
Thanks,
Puma

. Always garaged, all service done at MB Dealer, under 46k when I purchased, great paint, flawless body, clean engine.....then 1500 miles after the pinkslip changed hands I get stuck with not only the mother of all Flex Service plan scheduled maintainance but I also find out the rotors and pads all need to be serviced from (orig. equip.)! Even though I bought from pops I should have had an eval done by th MB service center prior to buying. Wouldda put the pressure on my father rather than on me less than 3 months after buying to the tune of about $1500 bucks
. Aside, the car is amazing and I'm even concidering a few minor MODS. In the end....DO IT....BUT BE SMART/SAVE YOURSELF SOME DOUGH...LET THE ORIG OWNER SELL YOU A CAR THAT IS MORE THAN JUST CURRENT ON ALL MAINTAINANCE!
