Buzzing noise

After washing my car this weekend, the car started to make a buzzing/rattling noise from underneath, it sounds like something came loose from the exhaust system as it only makes the noise after its well warmed up and when the engine is revved at about 2,000 rpms while parked. Does anybody know what the problem might be, the car has only 54,000 miles.
Any feedback appreciated. Thanks E.

Thanks Superstar, taking it to the mechanic tomorrow morning, hopefully it is the heat shield.

Heat shield or possibly exhaust support mount. Don't know if your car has this, my father's ML320 had a y-junction aft of the engine supporting the exhaust. At this support, there was a crack that made a rattling noise at idle.

Stop by the dealer last friday and had my service advicer hear the noise, it turns out it is the cat. converter, the good thing is that it is still under warranty 7years/70,000 miles.
