Painted Side Markers

I just ordered painted side markers, and I want to put them on. Any ideas on how the side markers come off? do they slide off or what?

Real easy. Just get a screwdriver, put a cloth over it and pop the sucker out.

I remember reading about it.... something like... pull it forward towards the front bumper, and then pop the back part out.

and thats it

As I just installed mine last night, I'll tell you how I did it. Take a medium flat head screwdriver and from the back of the sidemarker, push it forward (toward the front of the car) using the flat side of the screwdriver against the edge of the marker. The two tabs that hold the marker in place on are in the middle to the bottom of the marker so push from the middle/lower area. Push gently as it's easy to chip/break. It may take a few pushes before it loosens up so take your time.

the only thing I would add is cover the head with a piece of cloth to protect the paint.... just in case
