in manual it says that after replacing the sensor you need to reset it with the star diag. is this really true.

 

My CPS was just changed but I don't know if the computer had to be reset with the STAR diag machine. I can ask my guy but that wouldn't be until Tuesday. A good person to ask is Blkbenzz. He may respond to this by Tuesday. I'll check back and see if you've gotten an answer by then.
