Does anyone know who mbfan03 is? This person sold me a fog light on through this forum, mine had a crack. He said through 2 different messages that it was specifically the drivers side, I asked him over and over to make sure, and sure enough he sent me the passenger side. I've tried to write him back several times to get my money back or if he wants his damn fog light back or what and he won't write me back! *******! I'm pretty sure he shouldn't be an example for the rest of us on this forum but damnit it really pisses me off and I'm have a **** of a time finding another drivers side fog light. Ooooh it really irks me.

Wow. Sorry to hear this sistah. Did you do PMs in this forum to this guy or did you email him back and forth? What was his email addy? And lastly, was payment sent to a Hicksville, NY address?

I paid him with paypal. I'm sure I could take it up with paypal but the thing is that he didn't screw me, like the others by taking my money and not sending me n e thing, he took my money and sent me the wrong one. He won't reply to me. but I was just astonished to see how many people have been screwed by him and that he's STILL doing it. Paypal only has email addresses I believe and surprisingly enough he scratched out the sender address when he mailed the box. The Fedex tracking number he gave me shows that it was picked up in Hicksville, NY yes.

Yep. you've been had. He does his rip-offs in a variety of ways. One of which is to NOT send you what you THINK you're paying for. Thats why I'm immediately skeptical about that ray-deo that I was sent a link for. The eBay ad clearly states that it came out of a E class but the picture shows it in a CLK. I asked about this and his answer was: "oh that's easy. Because thats not the car it came out of." NO THANKS!!!!!!

One guy paid 'Evan' for some rims and got some knock off imitation. His history is quite lengthy. And Paypal does have a record of his information. They have mine. But they may not want to give it to you. Have you contacted them (Paypal)? If so, what are they saying?

 

I just finished my dispute claim with Paypal. I'm sure they'll refund my money. but its not the money, I want to see this f*cker suffer. Badly. To be sued/served and to keep doing this **** is one stupid idiot. An even stupider idiot to mess with an asian. An asian girl at that. He shall feel my wrath.

 

sorry, but, if he shipped it via paypal & shows delivery... paypal will most likely drop the claim....

they dont' offer satisfaction guarentee... only protection for non-shipment...

but, if he has a lengthy background, paypal may do something about it

The fog light was sent to you as the side you needed as per your request. if u send me the fog light back i will go ahead and refund your money once i recieve it.

I am very interested in your foglight for the 208 430 clk. Will that 99 fit an 03 model? Its a cabriolet so still the 208 body style that year. I need the drivers side to it. Which side do you have? Thanks

in all of these emails you specified and replied that it was the drivers side, answering my question, and said it was the left side. Obviously you sent the right side, PASSENGER SIDE. There is a fat chance that I will ship it back before I receive my money back. Just like you refunded everyone else's money back. You took there money and never paid them all back so why would I believe you would pay me back after I ship it? I think you want your fog light back and will keep my fifty dollars. Like I said earlier 24 hours for the money to be back in my paypal account. Then you'll get your foglight back.

the fog-light you received was probably the one I threw in for free when he shorted me on payment for my stock amg body kit off my old clk430.

the thing about using paypal to pay him is that since you paid for and received an item outside of EBAY, you don't have any protection from him sending you and item "not as described", so he could have sent you a rock in a box, and as long as he provides paypal with a devliery confirmation# or tracking number, paypal will PROTECT his sorry a$$. Now, buying it off of EBAY, and paying through paypal is a different story..........
