Tiptronic upgrade .... is the -D+ shifter plug and play?
My car is a 99, so I've got the older style shift pattern (D 4 3 2 1 ). I managed to get the newer shifter for cheap, so I'm trying to find out what else I need to get it to work.
I'm crossing my fingers that the shifter has the logic built in (so it handles going down and up gears and just telling the trannny computer what gear to go in... kinda like the old one). Do I need to recode my transmission computer or something?
