20 x 10 rim size?
hey does anyone know if you can put 20 x 10 inch on the back of a 99 clk I want to put some 20 inch rims on my car and I want to stagger them. The wheels I like that are moderatly priced only come in 20 x 10 . I have heard people putting 20 x 9.5 on the back but not 10. If anyone knows please let me know. Also what offset and tires they run. And on the front for 20 x 8.5 what offset and tire size should I use. and dont say use 19's 20 and up is the only size for me the car will ride fine.

i had 20x8.5's on my 99 clk 430. you will need a 35mm offset and 5x112 bolt pattern, if you plan on running a 20x8.5 on the front of the car you may want to go with a 245/30/20 tire, but i dont know about the back, i did notice when i had the 8.5" wide on the back it seemed like there was plenty of room for a 20x10. im also considering doing the same to mine whenever i get rid of the ones i have now. and yes the car rides fine with 20's, but youre gonna want to be careful with such thin tires, ive had a lot of close calls!

not stock.
with the correct offset, tire size and brand/model, not to mention some extensive fender rolling / triming etc....im sure a 20x10 will fit nicely (the the car dropped)................. imo, if your not someone knowledgable on wheels/tires..
go to a custom-wheel shop and let them help you. with a 10 in the back you have to run a stretched tire.... most likely a 265 width tire...... 265/25 tire sound correct.....

get custom wheels then your dreams will be fullfill by them.
with the right offset you have on you wheels, you will not find and difficulties putting those 20 inch rims on the W208 fenders.
get thinner strecth tires like nitto 555 extrerem 225/30-20 and rear get conti type 2
good luck
