Inside Door Handles
The door handles inside my car ( used to pull the door closed) are making a squeaking sound now
and they seem to be getting loose at the very top. I was wondering if anyone had an easy solution or step by step instructions if this has already been fixed by someone.
This is a really annoying problem and any help would be HUGELY APPRECIATED

Just pulled mine apart for a c/f overlay job.
They are actually 2 halves that come apart, front section and rear(attached to the door liner) You can pry the front half off to expose the inside of the rear half. I used a 1.5" stiff putty knife with the corners dulled on a bench grinder. There is a screw inside that must be loose. It's the only explanation.

Any pics? That's very helpful, thank you. ![Cheers](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)
I took off the "front" piece to take a look, but the screw seems to be at the bottom and was completely tight. the handle is completely secure where the screw is, but at the thinest point of the handle (at the top) is where it feels "loose" and is creating the squeaking sound

Here, I made a short film clip fer ya as I just started to do the passenger door today.
*note* The handle was already loosened. It will not come off this easy. Apply equal pressure around the top and bottom of it to loosen.

FYI - the "grey burlwood" is technically known as "birdseye maple"
