Oil Change

Hey All, I just had my personal mechanic change my oil and I was in a really big hurry and rushing to get somewhere, and somehow he forgot to reset my engine oil service ( you know 1,000 miles till service warning) and I was just wondering if there is an easy way for me to do it or if i should just bring it back to him.

1. Get in your car and close door.

2. Your cluster should read whatever the odometer says.

3. Put key in position 2 and push 0 button twice. (This is when it should say "Service now").

4. Press 0 key again and hold.

5. Return key to position 0 (keep it there for 1 sec) while holding 0 button then return to position 2.

6. Wait about 10 seconds while holding button 0 and it should beep and say "Service in 10000" (That is the only beep I hear when performing this)

Just for your 411, it should be in your manual BTW
