Rear Windows

What year were the rear windows an option? I love the look of a pillarless CLK with all the windows open. Looks more like a CL and it looks stunning. How much was this option?

well, if you are talking about the coupes, that would be 2003.

The convertibles have always had the rear window option.

So rear power windows were never an option on the old coupes? Isnt that strange because the 300ce and e320 coupe had them.

..................I have 1992 300CE. Has power telescoping steering wheel, power seat belt presenter, pillarless/half pillar design and the power rear windows. Just beautiful with the sunroof down and all windows down. Very interesting that the new W209 ClK is actually retro............back to the W124 coupes. The W124 coupes were tremendously expensive because they were based on the E-class platform, but they are indeed one the best mercedes designs. They suffer from poor trottle response. I also have a W208 CLK coupe. I love the CLK, but something in me tells me that the 300CE will outlast my relatively new CLK.

Ride on! If they made an e420 coupe, I would have it right now. For me though, the 300CE is too slow. On the highway Im sure its abeast. But take off does not seem so good. DO you have the Sportline model? Stiffer steering, etc?

BTW, i love how the seatbelt comes out to you when you close the door. It's the sweetest thing. And the rear is really nice.

What a nice car...

pics?
