Extended Warranty
The extended warranty on my 2000 CLK 430 will expire in a few months. The 2 year extended warranty was purchased on a Starmarked car when we bought it 3 years ago and the warranty is with MB.
The car has been pretty trouble free over this 3 year period and I might keep it a bit longer (one to two years). I am affraid to own it outside of warranty since it has about 60,000 miles and I am sure that more costly problems could start to materialize soon.
Could any of you tell me if I can buy 12 or 24 more months of warranty from MB or a reputable warranty provider? What can you expect to pay for this coverage and have any of you been scammed by other warranty providers?

Also, I have a 2000 CLK 430 and I have NO warranty. I've had a couple of small issues (CPS and tires). Convertible top was a not-so-small issue. The tires didn't have anything to do with the car and they were cheap anyway (they came mounted when I bought it in April) so I replaced em with Pirelli's. Best thing I can say is find a mechanic you can trust! But to be honest, I'll be looking at that link myself in a month or two ($$$'s).
