Arrow Time for New Rubber....

Been riding PS2's for last 2 sets. Have to say I really like how they ride / handle.

Anyone out there been on PS2's, tried something else and will never go back?

Like to get some feedback / testimonials for other tires..

Thanks

I had Pirelli P-Zero Rossos and i got some Hankook Ventus R- S2's I love them. The stick like no other and actually allow me to use my race suspension (the others let go far before the suspension actually had to do any work). Check them out...

Oh yeh, and they're really inexpensive.

haha, yeah real inexpensive! lol. I have Rosso's on my CLK and they are by far one of the best tires out there and are cetainly worth it, however there's a catch, over $200 a tire Did i mention they last 4 months with conservative driving? Do any burnouts and they last 2 months

I put PS2's on every car I can fit them on. I do have cars with Bridgestone S-03's, various Eagle F1 supercar tires, and with various Pirellis.

The PS2's are still my tire of choice over all of the others.

I have not yet fitted a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's -- they would be the only other tire out there that I would consider worth trying - if I were interested in trying something different, just for difference's sake. I do know of three people who went with a switch to the GSD3's just to try them...and they're all back on PS2's at this point in time....

Hope that helped.

My next tires will be PS2's. I talked to a salesman in a local tire store yesterday. He said that in performance PS2's are one of the best available, and what is also important, quietest.

Exclamation

PS2's are the best, only too narrow compared to S03's, which become noisy, specially with front negative camber like I have.

I used CSC2, and P7000 before PS2 is the best one so far. Its a bit softer but i like the feel how it goes over bumps. PS2 is the way to go unless they come up with PS3

Sorry MMM430,
Not trying to jack your thread, maybe this could help you too.

Hey guys I was looking at Bridgestone Fuzion ZRI. I've got 19'' rims and these look to be pretty inexpensive and have pretty good treadwear, traction, and tempature.

Anybody have any input on them?

I have 18" Falkens...... All season, tread wear 440!!! I wonder how long they actually last, but so far have had no real issue. They feel a little strange when parking the car, but I think thats a universal clk problem....

$380!?!?!?! I know you guys do better comparison shopping than that!
You didn't specify size but stock (17") for the rear are $212 and the fronts are $179 at tirerack.com. Other sizes would of course change the price but $380?!?!?! Theres no way I'd pay that for one tire.

For the PS2s @ tirerack:
17s are $212(rear) and $179
18s are $280(rear) and $212
19s are $336(rear) and $299

Maybe they DO cost as much as $380 but whoa! I'd be looking for a cheaper alternative. Ever try Pirelli's? I like my P-Zero Nero's...

Add $hipping, mounting + balancing and you end up with more than costco's 380.
How much cheaper is cheaper alternative? I am sure not very much anyway. And how much difference in performance between the "cheaper alternative" and the best tire on the market?

Well, again, I didn't know what size you were talking about so I shouldn't have said anything. But with that said, do what you want to do! Everybody doesn't have the same budget concerns as others out here! $380/ea. is out of the question for me, but not for you. Go for it.
But at any rate, I found the Pirelli's (@ $150/ea. for STOCK SIZE) to be a nice balance of price, longevity, and quietness for me.
However, I do love Michey's on my minivan!
