Both are great cars, but I still think the rear window of the 208 is better looking than that on the 209.

What do you guys think?

 

not only does the rear window in the W208 look better, the overall lines of the w208 make the car look more sleek. in my opinion, w209's look very girly while the w208's look more manly.

 

The W208's rear window is flatter. Somehow in that picture, the W208 does look that MUCH flatter/sleeker.

 

No doubt in my mind 208 is a far hotter and tougher lookin car.

I agree, except for the DTM versions. I can't find anything girly with either DTM model.

Im looking for a kit like that, for my car. I have found one but the site in in Russia I think and i dont understand **** on it.

 

I'd love to have that kit, but where I live would reaaaally become a problem having such kit. The streets are full of holes (yes, holes) and bumps and cracks.

Now look at this pic. I think here undoubtedly the c208 looks much better than the c209. This is the REAL DTM C208. The first picture is the street version.

I could help you if you are serious about it. I believe this kit is in Moscow. Originally, I am from Moscow (but live in the US for 15 years now). I could call them and set the deal for you. But I remember some Russian guy (on this forum or on BenzWorld) said that quality is not there when you look close.

 

How much would kit like that cost. dep on the price i might grab one

Yes you are totally right. If you can help me that will be awsome. I need you to find out how much is this kit also what material is it made, fitment, etc, and all the good stuff. I hope you got some family there just in case those peoples are a fake maybe you can get some member of your family to check them out, and make sure they have a good reputation i will hate to send $4,000 or $5,000 and never see my money again. You know what i mean but the most important will be the material is made and fitment, thanks a lot.

 

I don't have a link to their Web site. Can you post it here? I will translate it for you and call them Sunday night - it will be Monday morning over there (they are 11 hours ahead of us). I will talk to them like I am in Moscow, want to see it and "how about local pick up" and see if they are really 'cool'.
I have parents there but I doubt they will go there for me
I have nephews though. They would. Just give them a couple hundreds and they will take care of everything for you.

 

is this the kit? very agressive !! super wide rims and tires to look good. don't like the hood scoops, they look like cheap add ons.

the kit looks pretty tight, however, if you do put this kit on your car, PLEASE do NOT do the chrome headlight rings....they look like crap w/ this kit.

well, i guarantee you if this thread was in the w209 section everyone there would say the w209 was hotter, so i think the people have a little biased opions!

Just kidding. Both are beautiful vehicles, but I think for the most part if the people here like the 209 better than they would be driving one, I know I would !
