Lowering
Who has their car lowered? Any opinions on the kit to go with? I'm looking for a 1.4''-2'' drop all around and a little more agressive set up than stock ( i want it to feel a more like a soprts car than it currently does).
I've got 19''x8.5'' all around and I'll be purchasing a camber kit to help with that problem.
How easy are lowering kits to install on the CLK, should I just hire someone or attempt it myself?

Well it really depends. I'm not broke, but I don't plan on keeping this car for too much longer so spending alot on this paticular project wouldn't make much sense. What kind of range are we talking about? I was looking at some lowering shocks from bilstein $400-$500, Camber Kit $250-$300, and then the actual springs to lower it for $200-$500 so........$850-$1,300 + Shipping and install.
Advice?

For me I went with BRABUS springs, Bilstein sport shock, and front/rear Eibach sway bars.

Here is the stance of H&R Sport 1.0" drop with Koni Adjustable +1 in the rear and stock 55 spring pads. I commute 100 miles per day and love the ride quality of this combo.

BEAUTIFUL RIDE !! I love the stance too. Maybe just a 1'' will do. What size are your rims? Any rubbing?

NorCal what are the specs on those wheels?
Using Nitto Extremes, standard 19" tire size ie 265 in the rear. NO SPACERS! NO RUBBING. Almost time for new rubber.....
