People like me and others like me are too lazy to email you to ask for price, plus we get the impression it must be expensive if you do not want to post it so for our sakes, could you please post the price here.

I ask people to e-mail me so I have all requests in one place. This is important because serial numbers for this collector's item are assigned in the order requested/paid. That is the reason... People have discussed the price in other threads here, so it's no secret.
It's real simple... Just click on my e-mail addy, and it will pull up your e-mail program. Just type "Price, please" press "send," and you'll have an answer in an hour or so.

too small
as stated earlier, your emblem is way too small to go on the hood of a beautiful mercedes. All new MB have an emblem the size of the emblem that is standing upright on our MBs. They look great. Your emblem just doesnt look good because its way too small. It might fit great, but doesnt do the job. That is why MB tried to come up with a version that is bigger, but their version sticks up and out and is not flush....which sucks as well. Just look at your pic...you can barly see it. Doesnt do the MB justice.

People looking for the flush look like my badge. People replacing their standard grills with the oversize star like the subtlety of my badge to complement it. I have sold nearly 200 of these to date to people who universally love them, and some of these threads have had thousands of views from members interested in my topic. This thread alone has had nearly 2,700 views, and the one in the C-Class forum has more than 17,000.
This is a thread intended for those who don't share your ideas and opinions. You are in the minority. With respect, kindly move on to other threads where you can make a positive comment that others might care about.

WHITE STAR Flat Badge MAintenance (if needed)
To keep your WHITE STAR Flat Badge nice and shiny white, a handful of members have written me to recommend the following products. You may already have these mag wheel cleaners in your car wash kit. A tin is about $4-$5 at your local auto store.
The Mothers product works especially well. Just put a dollup on the white star inlays, let sit for a couple minutes then wipe off. Minimal rubbing needed.
Minimize contact with the blue laurel wreath areas… these are in blue LACQUER, so the cleaners should not mar them. But I’d steer clear just to be sure.
I’ve been testing to find the right products, but thanks to members for these leads. Of course, this only applies to the few of you with Badges showing any wear... the vast majority are seeing none...

NEW Mercedes WHITE STAR Flat Badge for CLK hoods!
I have resumed production of WHITE STAR Flat Badges. In addition, to address numerous requests, I have also designed a second badge,
an AMG Flat Badge.
Both flat badges are handmade from a genuine Mercedes upright hood ornament, part 210 880 01 86, using the original mount of the OEM part. So, they will fit all cars using this part: C-Class Sedans (only) 1995-present (W202, W203, W204 Sport or Luxury); E-Class 1995-present (W210, W211, W212); S-Class 1995-present (W220, W221), and CLK 1998-2002 (W208). These badges will NOT fit cars not designed to use the Original upright hood ornament, such as the W204 C63 AMG or the W203 Coupe.
Of course, the new AMG Flat Badge appropriately fits ALL AMG variants of cars above. The AMG badge offers enough contrast that it can also be used on cars with the tri-star badge on the grille, thus avoiding the “double badge” duplicate star issue on the newest car models.
The following picture (to right) shows the mount and lock of these badges, used without alteration from the original upright star. This ensures that your replacement flat badge will lock in the hood, just like your upright star. (Not like other flat badges that use funky screw posts with washers and wing nuts that take time to adjust.) It takes just seconds to remove your original upright ornament and replace it with either the WHITE STAR Flat Badge or the AMG Flat Badge. Switch back and forth between your original ornament and flat badge anytime the whim strikes you.
Each badge is autographed and serial numbered. Serial numbers are assigned in the order payment is received.
There currently are 365 serial-numbered WHITE STAR Flat Badges in circulation. The new AMG Flat Badge will start a new sequence of serial numbers, beginning at 003.
Your badge is delivered in 2-3 business days, via USPS Priority Mail, anywhere in the US. Int'l delivery available on request.
As always, I do not talk about pricing at MBWorld. This is to avoid confusion on the forums where I can be more specific off line. If you are interested, simply click on my e-mail address below my signature, and send me an e-mail. I will respond promptly, as always.

It occurs to me that some of you might not know the history behind my products here at MBWorld. So, I will post a link to one of the previous threads that proved informative and popular throughout the years. This link includes hundreds of photos of the WHITE STAR Flat Badge on various cars. Naturally, the majority of the pictures on W203s are further down the history of 320+ posts.

Weather warmed up enough to take a couple pictures of the new AMG Flat Badge. First two pics are of my W203, followed by a picture on a W211 E63 AMG.
Here are a few pictures from the archives of the WHITE STAR Flat Badge on various cars.

Geez, all this fretting about Black cars. Small white accents go very well on black cars. Several Black W203s are sporting the WHITE STAR Flat Badge.
Here's a montage of my WHITE STAR Flat Badge on several different W203 colors, including nlpamg's BLACK W203...
