Damn this light failure indicator...... I've replaced every bulb
When I turn the parking lights on the failure indicator comes on the dash in the OBC readout. I replaced the tail lights and side marker lights with OEM spec Sylvania bulbs and made sure the rears were 21 watts.
This is driving me nuts. Do you guy's have a specific bulb you prefer?

Originally the tail light bulbs were in backwards and firing bright normally, then dimmer when the brakes were applied. I dunno what genius pulled that off before I bought the car last week. I fixed that one easy.
Yet still, it is not a stored code because every time I hit the lights it comes on immediately. I'm about to go to MB and buy a full set of bulbs at their premium just to (hopefully) get rid of the warning. It causes me to have to hit the dash switch to go to the regular screen every time I get in to drive.

No one told me we had city lights in these cars.
I've had them in all my BMW, and Lexus, but didn't expect them in the benz. Had I known they were there this would have been fixed a lOOOONG time ago. (when I bought the car last week)
When I installed my new headlights the error went away and I figured it out when I saw the high beams glow for the first time with the parking switch on.
