kleeman cost?
Anyone know what the Kleeman runs for a 2000 CLK-430 and what type of power and 1/4 mile times it would run? I live in Northern VA and am looking for something to add substantial power just affraid of the cost.

Are you looking to get just the supercharger? Theres a place called funktion auto in NOVA http://www.funktionauto.com/, they are a authorized Kleemann dealer. Theres also a shop called Ultimate but I dont know if they are authorized kleemann dealer. I think its around 13k for just the s/c. I have s/c, ECU tune, headers, LSD, and springs. BEST customer service and the power is mind boggling.
lowphat has the kleemann setup on his CLK430 and he's in NOVA as well.

Oh my gosh I was thinking 7-9K at most. I cant put that kind of $ into my ride and am better off selling it and getting a clk-55. Yikes I had no clue.

Well I've only had 3 passes in it and had horrible traction. I ran a 12.4 @ 118 with a horrible 2.1X 60'. I may go again tomorrow night. With a good 60' I will be in the 11's.

wow that is right on par with an e55. I love my CLK but just want something that can run in the 12's and dropping 15k+ into mine is not an option. I will end up selling it and getting an 03 e55 in the next year or so more than likely. I would love to check out your beast sometime. Are you keeping your 99 as well?

Out Of Control!!
My car is faster than a stock E55. I just have alot of trouble putting the power down. I have beat 996TT's, M3's, M5's, C6 vettes, S4's, etc etc. Noone has given me an offer I'm willing to accept on the 99 so I'm keeping it til someone does. Just to give you an idea, a new M5 ran that night and his best was a 12.8 Traction was horrible. I will get into the 11's next time i go.

There's also HoP. They have been working with JoshK and his 430. I think they are around the price you are looking for and it will lay down around 360 rwhp. More than a stock CLK55. I don't think Josh has posted in a while, he's busy with his Hollywood lifestyle.

Hey blackbenz, what kind of skins are you running at the track, street tires? I know you would be able to get your 60 ft down with some drag slicks and bust into the 11's. Would love to see a video or some photos with you at the end of the 1320 against the new M5.

I nw have Toyo RA1's which are stickier tire but may want to try more of a drag racing tire in the future. If I get my car back today I will call up a buddy of mine with a M5 and head to the track and get it on video.

If it doesnt rain I will be at capitol friday night. My friend will be bringing his boosted Jetta (upgraded turbo's) and another friend will be bringing his 12s Typhoon (a few others may come as well). Saw a guy run 11.01 in his E55 at the track yesterday. He owns a shop and I will be discussing what he can do for my car tomorrow. His best time is 10.5, thats unreal! SL65 does it in 11.7 I think.
