need help. trunk wont open
......clk 2001 430.....ok my trunk just stop workin. i mean like the button in the car and the remote key button doesnt work anymore.. i have to manualy open it with the key. also when i activate my alarm with the key i dont see the blinging signal light anymore.. i get the blinging when i unlock the car tho.. weird it all happen in one day. any idea on how to fix this?

I had my trunk lock changed in May to get my soft top to work. There are problems with the trunk lock. Others here have had theirs stop working but they usually find a work around. I needed to change mine to get the convertible top to work. Go to mercedesshop.com (def. get yourself an account there). Go to the forums there. I asked my question to a guy named 'whunter' who is a mechanic and has a lot of knowledge on M-B cars.
