You can get one of these at Staples:

Or if you're like me:

those ebay feedbacks are very misleading since they can have their buddy buy it and add them reviews.......Boosting their feedbacks up to suck others to do so.......
Many cars and trucks nowadays can not just sometime without modifiering other parts
Best advice is to do your homework before paying for things......
Let's look at what he's advertising: His contraption allegedly puts a car in "RACE MODE", resulting in a 45 HP increase. Looking at the ad, this isn't for a specific car, but every car in the world - regardless of the type of fuel injection used. How does he do it? Based on the photo, he has zip ties, wire taps, a relay, wires, and a "race mode" button. So, they propose that by using a series of jumper cables, they can alter the ECU programming to increase fuel and alter timing. Lets suppose their product could actually change the fuel maps and timing specs with their magic jumper cables, what do you suppose that buys?
An increase in fuel delivery is worthless unless the engine can efficiently burn it. What's the optimum air fuel ratio for power? Stoichiometric is 14.7 liters of air for every liter of fuel, but that doesn't necessarily produce the most power. Most dynos will show that somewhere between 12:1 and 13:1 will produce the highest HP figures. Different combustion chamber designs respond better to different air/fuel ratios (remember, this Ebag tuner's magic cable kit works on every car). With that in mind, here's the first question: What's correct for "your" car? You may not know (that is, unless you've spent a fair amount of dyno time and determined what's right) and the vendor of this product certainly doesn't know. Guess who DOES know? That would be the engineers at Mercedes-Benz. Second question. Does the Race Mode vendor know your car's current air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle? Not very likely. Well, if this E-bag-of-tricks vendor doesn't know what the "current" air/fuel ratio is, how does he know more is better? Ask yourself this, if Mercedes-Benz got it close to being right, and RACE MODE can magically add 10% more fuel, will your car make more power or less power? If you vote "more", make sure to pick up some spare O2 sensors and catalytic converters, because with an 8:1 air:fuel ratio those parts won't live long.
Lets look at item number two; timing specs. Once again, different engines have different timing requirements. Do you know what's "best" for yours? Do you think this Ebay tuner does (keep in mind that he has no idea what kind of engine you have)? The Ebag Tuner is going on the theory that advancing the timing, advances the spark, which advances combustion, and that's where there are HP increases to be found. It's true, in some cases, some subtle increase in horsepower may be found. The emphasis is on subtle. When a manufacturer designs an engine, they compromise somewhat on the timing advance simply because they have no control over the quality of gasoline available. To a point, the higher the octane rating is, the more advanced the timing can be, therefore producing more horsepower. The common misconception is that more is better. The timing can only be advanced so far before detonation sets in. When your knock sensor detects that first PING, it immediately retards the timing. However, it doesn't retard it back to stock specs. Oh no. The ECU typically retards it down to "This engine can't possibly ping down here" specs. When it's in that mode, your engine makes zippo for power.
I'm telling you as timorously as possible, this is E-baggery at it's worst. The only thing this seller knows is that you've got money and he wants it.
But yes, just as I assumed; BS. I wasn't thinking of buying this by any means, but felt that I would show it to you all anyway and get some feedback. Nothting like a real ECU tune!!!
Does anyone suggest any type of tunning for N/A, other than a re-chip?
