ECU Tuning

Does anyone who has an ECU performance flash have a Dyno comparison? I've searched but no luck. I would like to hear from some folks who have real results.

Powerchip wants $756 ($840 - 10% Nov discount). They claim ~20 hp gain, but their prices are nuts.

Who does ECU tuning at a reasonable cost?

Price doesn't seem too bad to me since RennTECH & Kleeman tune are running around 1500.00-2,000.00.

In my opinion you get what you pay for.

Here's something I posted awhile ago about two competing ecu tuning companies. Instead of explaining further read this and ask if you have any questions.

I'm doin it

I decided to play nike and just do it. I'm going with SpeedTuningUSA. Lots of companies are claiming the same gains, this one happens to charge what I consider a reasonable amount. We'll see how it turns out. I should be able to tell by the amount of flashing (!) with ESP off.

My buddy just bought a Mustang GT. When we raced he barely crept on me. His ride is technically faster. I hope this fixes that problem.

By the way - I had the brake light switch issue a few weeks ago. While the BAS ESP lights were on my car felt FAST. I rode it sideways multiple times. It just doesn't seem the same now when I hit ESP off. I prefer BAS ESP broken. Does anyone else concur?

um...i felt a loss of power when my BAS/ESP light was off and then when i checked the manual, it even said that it limits torque and power when the BAS/ESP malfunctions ....
thats weird that it felt faster for you with it off...i hated it when it was on because i thought it felt slower...
