Dronellis,

I have the H&R Cup Suspension Kit Stage 3.5 on my CLK320. As Ben mentions, the ride is stiffer then stock, but judging by your current suspension, the cup kit won't lower as much as your custom suspension.

I very satisifed w/ the aggressive look and feel. Cost isn't bad either. You get H&R shocks (non-adjust) and springs.

Used to be a CLK430
Question: so if I get the springs only, do I have to replace my shocks?

It is not required that you change your shocks at the same time, but your results will be much better. The stock shocks are not designed to ride at the lower height or stiffer rate. They will wear much faster than they would normally, and eventually would have to be changed. On the other hand, you can get shocks such as Koni or Kleemann that are designed to ride at the lower height and stiffer rate, and have a very long life out of them; as well as incredible results.

You can not get the springs from the cup kit without purchasing the entire kit. If you were to combine these springs with your stock shocks, you would wear through them very fast, bottom out, and have horrible ride quality and handling... The stock shocks just aren't designed for it.
