00 opal clk 320

warrenty

I know the warrenty on my 2000 clk is 50000 or 4 years for bumper to bumper. My question is, can I extend that warrenty to last longer, like the starmark thing? I want to extend the exact same warrenty that is currently on it, so i can get my oil changed and things like that. Second, there is a little rust showing by my rear license plate. Is that covered under the same time period...50000 or 4 years? Thanks in advance.

Call your dealer, and tell them that you want to purchase the extended warranty. Body rust is covered under warranty, just mention it to your service advisor.

my sister has the extended warranty available from the dealership. i think the extended warranty is 7 yrs/ 100,000 miles.

btw my sis's car is a 00 CLK320.
