Need advice on my problem
Hi, I'm new to this forum. My 00 clk430 54k miles is tilted to front left side. I did an alignment recently, mechanic measured distance to the ground and found my front is almost 1 inch lower to left. He looked at the shocks and they looks fine. So should I replace spings only or spings and shocks together? Did anybody came across similar problem?

Shocks aren't the problem. They're not used to set ride height. Look at the spring perch. I've heard of them failing on a W210 in climates that promote rust (though not on a 208). Also, what are the circumstances surrounding the drop? Looked good one day and bad the next? Progressive?

I just found out it recently, I got wheel shaking a little when over 60mph. No accidents. I looked close at right shock yesterday and saw a little crack at very top of it where it connects to frame. But the car is crooked to left. I wander what would stock difference between fender and tire, mine is like 1.5 on left 2.5 on the right.
