Affirmative. None of the CLK's have smoked tail lights.

However, instead of changing out the rear tail lights completely, you can simply spray it with translucent paint.

A White 2002 C-240 was having this exact procedure done while I was at the performance shop today.

This way, you have the option of removing it if you decide that you don't like the smoked look. Doesn't cost much.

About $30 including labor.

I was also considering this for my CLK...

I also remember seeing a spray can that leaves a thin color film.... I think those go for $20 a can. you can choose black, gray, red, yellow, and smoked.

I've seen Civics that smoke their tail lights with these film sprays. Don't know how long these will last....

Anyone use these before?

I don't want to do anything half-assed so spray on film just doesn't cut it for me.

Sleestack, do you like the way the rear of your Audi looks? Im not trying to say its an ugly car, its nice, but the rear shot you posted looks wierd when I stare at it imo.

Overall id say its a nice car, but lacking in the looks department in the rear.

What does every one else think?

I'm not that crazy about the way Audis look in general, but I definitely prefer it to the stock lights. I like the car because it keeps me out of trouble and the quattro system is fantastic. Keep in mind, however, that I have had the car for 3 months (and did about $7000 in mods) and am already considering getting rid of it for something a bit more fun. Here's another angle:

I don't know about the lights, but that Audi (R6) is a beast.

You might a need 425Hp Plus for that monster.

Yeah, the RS6 comes in at 450 hp... I was thinking of getting one, however, it still has 4 doors and the Audi A6 starts looking like a jelly bean after you have one for a few months.
