LET THE MODDING BEGIN! ...mods on my CLK430..stay tuned...

so i finally starting doing the real modding on my 99 clk430....just got my eisenmann race exhaust installed and luvin it...drove home in 29 degrees with the window down the whole way haha ....got sum pics and sum videos on youtube..chek em outt.....

Carlsson RS style front bumper (in hand and needs to be installed)
Clear Corners & Hella Optilux 2500 fogs for bumper (in hand)
Black mesh for bumper (in hand)
Lorinser style fenders (in hand)
Lorinser style roof spoiler (in hand)
Carbon Fiber lip spoiler w/ LEDS (need to order)
Black grille w/ exagerrated MB logo (in hand)
LED Mirrors (possibly going to paint black) (in hand)
18x8.5 & 18x10 MHT Black Concept Neeper Moxy Wheels (in hand @ shop)
CLK55 airbox setup (just ordered)
New chrome key (just ordered)
K&N filters (need to order)
Swapping my subs for Rockford T1s (in hand)
Removing current tints for darker ones (10-15%?)
Tinting red part of taillight, black

Other upcoming mods within 2 months:
H&Rs w/ Koni Yellows or Bilsteins OR H&R Cup Kit - still somewhat debating?
ECU Upgrade probably from speedtuningusa


STAY TUNED - most of those parts in the first section will be going on between march 3-10 while i dont need my car as ill be in acapulco for spring break ...cant wait for the mods! its gunna look hot...

None the less, I like your mods, I listened to your exhaust, damn does it sound good, I'll hit you up with a comment later.

not that i knew of? i see ppl on the forums puttin in K&N filters and saying they get a cuple xtra ponies outa them, especially combined with the clk55 airbox setup...

I've heard better stuff about the Green filters on here. Some people report issues with the K&N and their MAF. That exhaust sounds amazing!

and ya i just recently heard about green filters...do they give any type of HP gain? hows the sound?
and i heard you only have problems with the K&Ns & your MAF when you overoil your filters...

EDIT: searched the boards and seems like im guna go green! lol....now anyone now a good spot to get them from??
and do they give a decent HP gain w/ the clk55 airbox? and how do they sound?
