I read through numerous threads and kept finding on how to hardwire the radar to your cigarette lighter. But i thought u could hardwire it to your domelight as well...i tried tapping into the gray wire that runs to the reading lamp light but it wasnt working....was i doing something wrong or can it not be hardwired into the domelight...please helppp

Does yours make a god awful racket when you fire up the car? If I turn it to pos 2 it comes on fine but if I start the car the alarm goes off saying low voltage and screams. I have my display set to pilot V which displays voltage while on.
