DIY Spring Swap?
this was great help as well, as it helped give extremely useful option where
lower control arm is needing to be lowered to gain more space. sometimes,
even during full spring compression, there still isn't enough space between
top/bottom perch to tip and angle out the spring. in such cases, lowering
the LCA in back is relatively quick and easy.
in front (with W210) removing the sway bar fitting(s) does the trick and only
adds minutes to the overall task.
have used both techniques on my 99 E320 about 3x now. i keep trying to
get just the right gap and tuning the suspension for the ride and feel I want.
this is good also
